Cotati (CA) – Cotati (CA) – 176Km
Late start day. It is time to take it easy a bit. Direction San Francisco. Well I never made it to San Francisco, Instead I spent the entire day walking around, over and near the Golden Gate Bridge. Stopping at many viewpoints, getting different angles for the photos, and discovering the park on the north side.
It was a pretty day, and relatively event free day up to the time I decided to drop the bike in the most dumb way ever. Isn’t it always the case? I don’t know but It was pretty stupid, and I am still angry after myself.
Anyway, the bike was down on a relatively steep hill, and there was no way to get it up by myself. After a car passed by looked up but did not stop, a sportbike rider was nice enough to stop with his girlfriend, and we had the bike back up in no time. I am glad to have those engines bar, they really did their job. I was concerned with my side case, but I had a hard time finding any scratch. The only real trauma was my back, which I probably hurt while trying to keep the bike up.
Nat makes her own French bread. Heaven I tell you.
One of many rivets.
The belly of the beast.
There is a one way tunnel in the park, and it is a blast to ride.
Those guys were making a killing.
