I landed in Corsica at 0700 this morning. The crossing was not really fun as it was overnight and a storm developed within a couple of hours of us leaving port.
Anyway I was in for a surprise. Little did I know that a ‘Motorcycle Rally’ was spending the day around Ajaccio today. The Dark Dog motorcycle tour last a week and crosses France at a pretty intense rythm and stop on open roads as well as close circuits for some time trial runs.
This was a pleasant surprise and after talking to the Police I was able to figure out a program to follow the action all day long.
This is pretty cool and should be exported in North America.
